Does it get better after episode 2? I loved the Pilot, but e2 kinda lost me. The creepy horror vibes from e1 basically disappeared, and everybody but Carol felt like a caricature. Carol being the only one to care about their situation just felt too absurd to be believable.

Because we are massive. We are the third largest nation on Earth by both land and population (and we have a much longer-lived system of government than China, Russia, and India). You cannot seriously expect that every nation should have a similar cultural impact regardless of size.

Just because the Republican candidate is a senile old man doesn't mean the Democratic candidate should also be a senile old man. Biden was not fit for office, should not have run for reelection, and his refusal to step aside earlier robbed the voters of the chance for a real primary.
