My computer survived and the demos were really good! Shutter Story has so much potential and I'm really excited to see where the story goes in the full game, and There are no Ghosts at the Grand surprised me with its genuinely funny comedy and great voice acting <3

Tldr: My laptop is slowly dying and I need a new one. The next few streams will be testing what my limits are in terms of streaming as a whole, and I will open up VGen commissions to assist with the new pc costs

This last weekend I took the laptop I've been streaming and gaming off of for the last two years to a repairman so I could figure out exactly what was wrong with it and if it could be fixed. Within the last month I've been experiencing a lot of lag,-framerate drops, overheating and overloading whenever | attempt to do anything more intensive, and it was beginning to get in the way of both streaming and leisure use of my laptop. Basically.it's not great. Turns out gaming laptops are kind of a scam that barely lasts the warranty period before degrading in quality_f.)- The good news is that he was able to give my fans a good cleanout which did actually end up improving performance and lowering the temperature. This is a temporary fix at best though, so my plan is to save up to purchase a proper gaming.pc. Now onto what this means for you guys as viewers. I am very apprehensive towards the idea of just continuing on with scheduled programming like nothing is wrong. While I want to continue streaming through this period I need to make sure that everything is going to run well, and the only way to really do that is through trial and testing the current limits of my laptop. My plan is to start small and increase strain from there, so this week's stream will be me playing a couple of game demos l've had my eye on for a while! If all goes well then I may try a collaborative game like Peak, or explore one of Reverse: 1999's permanent game-modes. Other than that, you might also see an increase in art streams as well - as they should demand less from my laptop overall. Additionally, once l've finished a few outstanding pieces, I will be opening VGen commissions to help me afford the PC!
