I can still remember the feeling playing this on my Xbox 360. It's still my favorite sit and zone the world out game, along with No Man's Sky. Elden Ring is maybe my vote for the best game ever, but Dark Souls will remain my favorite. Warts and all.

Elden Ring is really, really great but my heart will always love Dark Souls more. I've still not beat it. My furthest progress is on my Switch. Just bought Remastered for fifth time, on my PS5 this time.

I am trying to evolve beyond feeling the need for and the accumulation of physical possessions, but I still bought this trinket. It's a charm made from the clay used to make the dohyo, where sumo is performed. It's consecrated and you aren't normally allowed to touch it. This one says Takakeisho.
