Eventually it will just be AI written papers reviewed by AI, while humans simply become irrelevant.

Maybe @hossenfelder.bsky.social would take this on?😃

This seems like it should be a priority. There are going to many gold nuggets in those papers.

Makes a nice clickbait headline anyways.

I really really hate the phrase “there is no other explanation.”

I know DM theorists are chomping at the bit to find their beloved dark particle, but there are always other explanations…

The 20 GeV Fermi Halo Excess: Why Dark Matter Is Not the Only Explanation
A recent analysis of 15 years of Fermi–LAT data by Totani (2025) reports a statistically significant, approximately spherical gamma-ray excess in the Milky Way halo, with a characteristic spectral pea...

Excellent video! Going to recommend this to everyone as one of best introductions to DM I’ve seen.

There are still those not giving up on the idea the effects ascribed to DM might actually be related to the quantum vacuum.

The Quantum Vacuum Universe: Linear and Nonlinear Effects of Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffness
We present the Quantum Vacuum Universe (QVU) as a unified physical framework in which gravity and cosmic expansion arise from the intrinsic stiffness of spacetime. The Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffne...

Interesting, though doesn't that model predict flat rotation curves, whereas the MW one is declining? So it might have issues explaining the outer, steep slope. This "Scalar/BEC soliton" in Fig. 1 looks interesting in that regard, but I'll have to read this in more detail.

I’ve been following this unknown researcher a bit. I found this new unpublished article by him on Zenodo.

It would be interesting to apply the classification criteria to Big SPARC, which I think should coming in 2026?

A Universal Three-Regime Sequence in Galaxy Dynamics Predicted by a Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffness Response
This paper presents the “Three-Regime Observational Sequence”, a unifying framework that emerges naturally from the Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffness Response (QVCSR). The three regimes —   Suppressi...

I have a niece who 100% considers her ChatGPT friend as alive.

I spoken with my sister about an intervention.

Seems bad. Especially during a non-El Niño period.

Most people have no comprehension of the vastness of space. You’re probably foolish to believe there isn’t intelligent life elsewhere, but also foolish to not understand how incredibly far away from us it likely is.

Just serving up more Tacos.

Trump is an example of bad leadership, in addition to misunderstanding how he could have ended this war months ago if the right kinds of appropriate pressure was put on Russia (instead of rolling out the red carpet).
