cademic folks who might want survey data from this fall

Hoping to put together a multi-disciplinary, multi-university omnibus study.

We can collaborate on the design, common demos, and then, independent battery time depends on who wants in?

Once was part of a 7 uni study

If you want to play along, I’ll be running a pool for the women’s tournament. It’s free - just download the app Bracket Tracker. Pool name will be Just for Funsies, DM me for the password.

How do folks here keep track of random ideas? I’ve tried carrying a pocket notebook, and it’s okay sometimes, but I feel weird writing stuff down in the middle of a casual chat that also inspires me.

Folks that have a book under their belt. How did you handle the marketing component of the proposal?

I have a regular coauthor.

Despite the times the bust my business, I almost always hang up on our call and immediately think,

Love that person.

We’ve been writing together for 15 years.

My best friends don’t believe they exist.

Saddest email you’ve gotten recently?

Mine was from the other day - student asked me to meet after class.

I had to tell them that class ended the week prior, and the final was indeed on that day.

Oddly, they did not respond.

Interesting election results tonight thus far.

Voters.

and the folks that stay home/don’t vote for reasons.

Heck.

it’s really too bad that there isn’t a science that actually explains them.

have to wonder if it really is all because of Elvis

Tonight’s lecture prep is brought to you by Collective Soul.

folks, I have to ask - is it cheesy to start class with a song of the day? I’m dying to do it but I don’t have the guts

The spot I bit on my lip a week ago keeps getting bitten, despite my best efforts to avoid it.

That’s it. First sky balloon, or whatever this is.

I’ll pout about things later.

In the meantime, what is your current word of the day (stolen from a smarter, kinder friend of mine).
