Busy day today, finding time to attend some important training with other branch secretaries.

How's the holiday going? Well, I remembered to turn off my alarm, but woke up on the dot of it anyway. The storm has ended and the sun's out. Only decision I have to make is which book to read and how early is too early to read it in the hot tub?

Reading pile for this week on holiday. The Kindle is also overloaded. The two I have to read for fast approaching book clubs are the one on union organising for LBC and Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh for MCR SF&F book club. A dodgy knee and a poorly motorbike should ensure lots of reading time.

Well, this feels much more like an old school Twitter replacement than the Twitter/Facebook/Insta hybrid that is Threads. Hopefully the algorithm will be less vehement about showing me what it is certain I want as well.
