I doubt AI to video will ever work very well. What may do though is AI to 3D worlds and videos made of stuff happening in those worlds. No continuity problems with videos of 3D model trucks rolling through a 3D world.

Audio's great in that you can do other stuff while you're listening to something, unlike with reading or watching a screen.

The recent progress seems quite stunning. AI's probably got a lot to do with it, in a muscle-memory kind of way. And I think they'll be useful if just by showing them what you want them to do is all it needs to have them do it repeatedly.

But - put two in a workshop and tell them to make something?
