I've been off work 2.5 weeks and I've been so busy I'm sick of it. Got a proper job interview today and think after this I'm going to cool my jets. I want to craft! I want to go to the movies! I want to ride my bike around.

My dog Buzz used to LOVE having grass tickle his butthole to get him to poop. It was so funny, he'd run around trying to find long grass or weeds that would tickle that itch.
If I were a dog, I'd put my butthole in the snow after a poop as a refreshing treat

I had a life changing sleep last night. I guess after I had a 12 hour meltdown. I think I exorcised the last 10 months. Finally starting to feel after this whole ordeal.

Going to build a sci-fi religion around this dog, who is clearly the reincarnation of a galactic emperor.
Some of those dogs at the dog show are just obscene abominations unto the lord.

The flaming cauldrons in Neelix's kitchen really stress me out.

Serious question. Every exercise thing I've signed up for (skate class, pickleball, yoga) eventually has me in a show down about being filmed. I do not want to be filmed or on their social media. It should just be a choice I can make, but I also have a history of DV & don't want that info out there.

Feeling for all the people who are having to be around family that makes them feel unsafe. Sending love.

Just putting it out there - you may be as shocked as I was to find out that even if you have your cervix removed you can still get CERVICAL CANCER. Thankfully I had never had HPV so I no longer need to get pap smears but truly having had female sex organs just keeps on giving.

Although I mostly find Pluribus uninteresting, I am impressed that the biggest show of the year centres a miserable areshole middle aged woman. It feels like a win for all of us 🤣🤣

Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

Two weeks since I left my job and I'm feeling less numb. I did a big bike ride yesterday which helped blow the cobwebs away. I've been so busy since I finished work I haven't had time to think. My sleep is still disturbed but hopefully that will settle soon. Man bad jobs can just wreck your life.

Definitely the Soderbergh A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES with Zach Galifianakis.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

I'm so discombobulated by this job seeking process. It's been 5 years since I looked for a job. Starting over again is so daunting as a disabled person. Will I be bullied? Will I have to endure endless harms advocating for my access needs? Even just the thought of having to meet so many new people.

The reason the Steam Cube is a cube is because everyone gonna mod that thing in to either the Hellraiser Lament Configuration cube or the Portal companion cube. There are no other logical choices.

Didn't expect to ever read "felching poetry" in The Guardian. Keep it classy America.

Fuck me dead just had my first call in the quest to find a new job & it was a nightmare. I submitted my access requirements that I get the questions in advance & only one question at a time. They did not honour that at all and the guy on the phone was on speaker and typing at the same time as well 👎

Such a wonderful holiday to Aoteroa. We planned on doing so much and did very little! Our accomodation is right on Throne Bay and has direct beach access. Lying in bed watching the sunrise over Rangitoto absolute heaven 😍 feel very relaxed and ready to go home actually.

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein Is Dead Flesh Reanimated
Guillermo del Toro’s long-awaited Frankenstein adaptation for Netflix is a big, bloated mess. Much like Frankenstein’s Creature, it’s dead matter, crudely stitched and bolted together.
