This weekend we played a re-fight of the Battle of Friedland (1807). Eight players, with over 300 units on table at it's peak. 15mm homebrew rules.

A slow start for me this year, however I have finished the first two units of Sumerians for my Bronze Age project. 15mm models from the old Chariot Miniatures range.

It's been a slow start painting this year. Last year I failed to play a single game of Blood and Plunder (one of my favourite rules-sets), so one of my hobby goals this year is to paint and play more. I started off with a cannon crew and 4 'Sea Dogs'.

Here's a special sneak peak of my finished Xenos Rampant project. I have been completing it as part of the Plastic Crack Podcast's challenge. It is made almost entirely from old Ebay rescue models, stripped and repainted. For Xenos Rampant the entire force works out at 72 points.

I have not been painting much recently. The main reason is I have had this bad boy out on the table, GDWs epic Operation Crusader game. I have only played through the very small introductory scenario, Operation Brevity so far as I am trying to learn the rules.
