DEFCON has banned Eric Michaud. You need to be an exceptionally toxic sleazebag to get banned from DEFCON. There are literally only 4 other names on the list: John Draper, Jake Appelbaum, Morgan Marquis-Boire, and Chris Hadnagy. defcon.org/html/links/d...

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

If you have to keep explaining why you did what you did was a good idea, it was a bad idea.

Chuck Schumer is unfit for this moment.

Yesterday I learned from my newest Doc that Long COVID is mimicking TBI symptoms in patients (Hi!)

The evidence keeps piling up that any COVID infection at any time can impact multiple body systems.

And yet we’re cramming feds into closets for RTO often with windows that don’t open.

Masks y’all.

Kash Patel wants to criminally charge groups who received EPA grants for climate change projects. You know, like those greedy bastards at Habitat for Humanity.

He thinks climate change isn't real, so he thinks these groups have committed fraud.

Which of course is fucking crazy.

Environmental justice programs are so much more than what folks might see on the surface & primarily fund things like providing air filters to communities heavily impacted by wildfire smoke in rural areas. It’s undoing the programs that protect everyone’s air and water.

Thank you Matthew Tejada for standing by the values you brought to the fight for environmental justice at the EPA and beyond #goodtrouble #truthtopower
#truthtopower please share. We need to lift up people’s voices, faces, and stories from their communities. We need to fight back and remember we are part of a community that is large and strong, we can’t let them bully us into silence. EJ staff speak #truthtopower. EJ communities speak #truthtopower

it’s not that this US administration has a different, competing version of what it means to do good. They know and even share our conception of good, and oppose it on purpose to make their enemies mad. Consciously, purposefully, gleefully evil.
