Flight back from Indonesia Jakarta to Germany Hamburg was blissfully uneventful. Our luggage was one of the first to come out as well. Taxi ride home was quick. But then, checking the mailbox, just one single letter… immediately in a bad mood for the rest of the weekend. 😩 [ GEZ Rundfunkeitrag ]

In an attempt to adjust the locale setting for Tekken 8 matchmaking while I am in Indonesia, I’ve messed with the registry settings in my Crossover Steam Bottle… now the game throws up a connection error and I can’t revert it. Reinstalling 120GB via hotel WiFi is going to be a pain! 🥲

No pinky button, but macros are there (training mode reset 🙌) and switches can be changed (Wind Engine 🙌). The wireless dongle and foldable feet are awesome QOL additions. I’d expect the build quality to be superior to Haute42, but who knows. I do like the overall design. 🙂 #8bitdo #leverless

I get how the algorithm comes to the conclusion that if I like A, chances are I am going to like B also. If one is a blatant rip off (with the same opening line even) though, without adding anything of substance to it, barely 21 hours apart, what’s the actual point? I’ve already seen the original. 🤷🏽♂️

First attempt at Arch Tempered Rey Dau in MH Wilds. Haven’t fought a regular one in ages so I couldn’t even tell the difference. He just hits VERY hard. I did triple cart, but had insurance. Took nearly 20 mins as I played like a coward at one "life" to survive. 🤓 Red Armor Spheres though. 😍

Today I realised that I can use automated captions in Final Cut for other stuff too. I couldn't find a specific segment in my timeline, so I used automated captions to make the timeline searchable via text... and it actually worked! 😍 I never seem to stop learning new things about Final Cut Pro.

Oh right one final purchase I made in Q1, (technically before the 5090, it just arrived afterwards) is the Sony FX30 with a Sigma f1.4 16mm lens. That’s it though, I don’t have anything else listed to upgrade. I’m super happy and 100% done. Although my 12900kf is getting a bit old…👋 (slapping noise)

So I might have bought some upgrades… like an RTX 5090 and some switches for my Haute42 controllers. There’s just one more thing still missing though. 🫣

SF6 is for all intents and purposes still a last gen game, but I still find it very cool to have the latest entry available on Switch 2. With cross play being (apparently) confirmed, I wonder if Tekken 8 could be downgraded far enough to make it run exactly as it does on PS5, XS and PC.

I had hoped to make it to Tekken King in Tekken 8 this weekend, but then I got "distracted" with productivity tasks. Oh well, I at least made it to Bushin today, so that's something. I know, it doesn't matter for Season 2 as Kishin and Bushin are in the same rank reset bracket, but still- Progress 💪🏽

Got all the crowns in Monster Hunter Wilds. That actually took a while. Thanks to the binocular's new features, nowhere near as long as it did in base World (that took me close to 5 months 😂), but still. Back to Tekken until Tama arrives next week? 😆
