What DHS pulled in Chicago on Tuesday is wildly unconstitutional. They smashed down almost every door in the building, dragged entire families into the street, and detained people for hours ("Kavanaugh stops").

The average salary for a state employee is around $56K, benefits on top of that (29% of salary) making it $72K for direct personnel costs. Add in overhead costs (office space, admin infrastructure, indirect costs) and you're looking at $100K per employee. This adds $5M/yr to Medicaid admin costs.
