Smells of soot and poo. Part of the “Anti Growth Coalition”, apparently.
Agreed on both those.

Try re-reading it. It’s the throwing money for PR purposes that’s the effect. But it seems like you’re just here for the Twitteresque ad hominem attacks.

I’m a huge fan of UBI providing it’s set at a level that both provides for the recipient properly whilst still giving a suitable incentive to work for those who can. The former would need to be set by people who know what they’re talking about to and are apolitical.

UBI + a higher min. tax allwnce

The former. Only someone wilfully choosing to create an argument would assume otherwise.

So you need to mend the system. Throwing money at people who want more kids just for effect won’t fix the system. Especially if you’re just shaking the money tree for it.
November 11, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Who says I’m not? It’s all part of my overall grouchiness.

No one mentioned full employment other than you.

But we all have to pay for it in the end. We have huge borrowing, inflation, etc which hits everyone.

Fortunately I don’t think he’s heard of Wales and if he has, he’d think that windmills were already killing you…
November 11, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Tax evasion is already illegal. It’s a lack of enforcement. The removal of non-dom status is finally one small step in the right direction.

My life is full of joy: other people’s kids do detract from that though. And paying more to them unnecessarily would indeed make me more grouchy.

He’s always struggling not to laugh in these clips: even he knows he’s spouting utter nonsense and/or blatant lies and getting away with it.

Does PNG have an extradition treaty with the US?
November 11, 2025 at 4:10 PM
So where would you like to get the money to pay for this without raising tax? The NHS? Social care? Education? Foreign aid?

All so that people can be paid to have more children, unless you’re already earning a good salary, from what I recall when I had to pay for someone else’s child.
November 11, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Yes and yes.

But why put them into that peril in the first place just because you’re too selfish not to bring them into it?

Food security is about decent jobs and a willing workforce rather than just chucking out benefits.

The welfare state should be for genuine need and there’s a load of that
November 11, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Child poverty is a bad thing but are we expected to pay for everyone else’s selfish choices? The child benefit cap isn’t exactly a surprise to anyone who wants to have kids; it’s not retroactive after all.

And yes, all the other money squandered away under the Tories explains why we booted them
November 11, 2025 at 3:43 PM
How many cases like that would actually happen versus how many children would simply be cash cows for their parents? And don’t forget those hypothetical parents would be able to claim other benefits anyway.
November 11, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Can someone explain why I should pay more tax just because someone else decides - knowing all the facts - to have more children than they can afford?
November 11, 2025 at 1:08 PM
3 minutes and 50 seconds of foreplay.
November 9, 2025 at 10:10 PM
That’s dead good.
November 9, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Well he needs all the help he can get to find it.
November 6, 2025 at 7:00 AM
No, because it came out of your mouth.
