There is so much wrong with this Beta. I wrote a detailed feedback to your CEO but have not had even an acknowledgment. In summary, the new look gives less information and in the case of the winds a downright misleading summary in the screens. Please go back to the drawing board.

I lived in the next village to him in Hampshire. He is a charming man. I see he is having driving licence woes following his move to Italy. Don't understand it. He drove like an Italian. He would fit right in.

19 drivers drove within their and their car's limits. It was exploratory laps for all. Charles has a tendency to make mistakes in extreme conditions.

Didn't stay up for FP1 got up for FP2 and relied on sky recapping anything of significance. Will do same tomorrow. Four hours kip is ok when waking hours are helped with caffeine.

Never watched it after series 1 episode 1, don't think from what I have read I am missing anything. Target audience would appear to be those who have never followed F1.

Matt, as an aside, the first race meeting I went to was I think in 1956 at Snetterton. The driver that is imprinted in my memory was Archie Scott-Brown.

I was born Oct 1950 so first GP was Swiss GP in May 1951 won by Fangio.
