lolol holy shit i found the video and i was thinking of something totally different! it was apparently marvel vs capcom 2. still a funny video and this dude absolutely purposely froze the cabinet (action starts just after 1 minute)

i definitely remember seeing a video of a guy intentionally freezing a fighting game and putting his arms in the air and yelling "yooOOOoop!" then the arcade owner yelling at him saying he was banned lol

also they also had a big assembly in the gym. they didn't tell us what it was about and they started naming names of kids in our school. they said "all of you who we named; you were spotted driving into the school parking lot without your seatbelts." there actually were cops staked out and watching.

they had a destroyed car that was attached to a giant machine that made the car spin. they put a crash test dummy in there that inevitably flew out while it spun and they were like "this could be you in a car accident." didn't have the intended effect though, most of us just wanted to ride it.
