but tbh, when I need nonstick, I usually need it for something tiny, so I grab a small Crofton pan I got @ Aldi lol

are you mentioning carbon steel? I mean, I've seen brands say "metal utensil safe", but after enough use they're going to inevitably get scratches

otherwise, oxo is good bang for the buck (I have and I like), and all-clad generally is a good quality, more premium product
