The CPC rhetoric around defunding the CBC ignores the benefit to Canadian culture and identify. It’s bigger than news. CBC has a mandate to support much of the film, TV, radio, podcasts and other media that promotes French, English and indigenous voices that are distinctly Canadian. #cdnpoli
