That is the second highest minimum wage in Canada. It varies by province from $15 in Alberta to $17.85 in BC. I get the point the chart is trying to make, but it's deceptive.

How about we tax poor land use? If we want development downtown, holding empty lots or surface parking lots and paying minimal tax needs to change.

That doesn't mean anything because a lot of people are house poor or live a more frugal life to have less bills. Higher value of property =/= ability to pay.

It's shady as hell that only Rider fans are paying the facility fee. They haven't been charging it on concerts or other professional events like the hockey game as Mosaic. I get not charging it on high school games, but the big events should pay it too. Bet FF tickets don't have it! #yqrcc #Mosaic
