Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

He is absolutely right. Taking no stance is a stance and may not say what you intended. #DemocracyMatters #UseYourVoice
Folks have been telling me they’ve noticed I’ve gotten “a lot more political” on social media this year.

Of course I have.

The circumstances have gotten nightmarishly worse, and the consequences of inaction and staying silent infinitely more obvious.

Everyone needs to get “a lot more political.”

If you want to see what any govt values, don't look at what they say. Look at the budget to see what they prioritize. Municipal, provincial AND federal, if you want to see what your govt values, it is in the budget. #yqrcc #skpoli #cdnpoli

I've read many of the comments & can't fathom how difficult managing the many disparities of Canada is in the best of times. These are the worst of times. Never has our sovereignty been threatened by what we thought was our ally. The PM won't be perfect and can't be expected to be. We need to unite!

Pepper spray is also illegal in Canada. It is classed as a prohibited weapon under the Criminal Code.
Well-meaning Americans in my mentions: kindly do not recommend extremely illegal actions that could land people in the UK with a ten year prison sentence

The Minister of Health should be fired.

We get the government is purposely mismanaging health care so they can claim it’s too broken to fix.

Even given that knowledge, the minister of health should be fired.

Regina residents, have you done the #FarmersMarket survey yet? Sounds like they are debating whether to bring it back downtown on Saturdays. If the goal is a vibrant #downtown eventually, part of the solution is not holding things like this only during business hours for govt workers. #yqr

In other words, helmets don't actually save lives in road situations where separated lanes do. So the Q is, do you want to actually save lives? Or do you just want to impose costly virtue signalling on cyclists? B/c the latter is all a bylaw does. #yqrcc

Boy, this Blue Jays team — after losing that marathon heartbreaker game 3, coming back to decisively win the next two games IN LA just takes a lot of character and confidence. This is a really special Toronto team.

Heading back to Canada with one more win to go. Get it, boys. #WorldSeries #GoJaysGo

To do it, go to their quote-tweet of you, click on the three dots in the bottom right, then click “detach quote.”

It shows up as “removed by author.”
