4. Overlooked, but bringing extra socks can really save your feet on long hiking or field walking days! And adding a light pair of sandles for the drive home is always a treat. #CanArch 🏺

3. Sunscreen & a Hat! Working outside in the sun in exhausting, & keeping your skin safe from burns & potential skin cancers is vital to your health! #CanArch 🏺

2. Electrolytes are vital if you are working in hot climates. Grab some Mio sport, Gu or Nuun tablets, & keep them in your bag for when temperatures rise. They will help you stay hydrated! #CanArch 🏺

A Smith-Wintemberg Award winner in 2015, Birgitta's contributions, particularly regarding the archaeology of the Norse, were extraordinary and groundbreaking.
