I can't predict my path, but they can't fully see my past
I'm running from the flash but heading straight inside the blast
A mountain full of ego built upon a heap of trash
Is exactly what you get when you can't fully do the math

Food pantries can be super effective through buying in bulk but they're also more likely to buy food with the largest number of people in mind. Check if your local has anything on their web site about diabetes, celiac, cholesterol, etc. and try giving food suitable for people with those issues. 3/3

My local food pantry has a note on its web site, saying "The Pantry cannot customize clients' food to meet specific dietary needs such as diabetes or low cholesterol. However, the Pantry will try to do its best with the items we have." 2/

My GRANDFATHER had breast cancer. My actual, biological, genetic, 46XY, sire-of-eight-living-children-and-two-deceased-children grandfather had breast cancer.

I grew up with grandparents whose parents immigrated from southern Italy. To this day I have to specify "Aunt $AUNT- no, she's not genetically or legally my aunt" and "Cousin-not-actually-genetically-or-legally-my-cousin $COUSIN" to my more WASPy friends or they get all sniffy. They don't get it.

I remember being told once that cricket matches go on until the players get bored and go home.

Yet again, the world I see out of the corner of my eye is way more entertaining than what's there when I look at it directly.

All of which is a roundabout way to say that for a few gloriously entertaining seconds I thought I had an email from the people at the Women's March that began with “WE ARE THE FURY OF THE STORM AND THE PITILESS WRATH OF ENDLESS WINTER.”

I do not always look at the Sender part first, as the Tuta client uses a smaller font for the sender and other information than most senders specify for their body text. Some senders use VERY LARGE text for an eye-grab at the top of their emails before going on to the regular lettering.
