This time last year, we were living in NE Arkansas, and we lost everything to a fire. We walked away with our dogs and our lives. It's taken a year to recover here in the Ozarks, where we started anew in a cabin by Bullshoals Lake. Its been a journey of gratitude and new beginnings. God is good. 🙏❤️

I will always believe that there's a hope and a future for all of us. We actually have more in common than not. I can't lose hope and when the view is overwhelming I set my sight on the smaller view at home where it truly matters.
despite the world becoming scary i still have a perhaps niave but unwaivering belief that a better world is possible

Chilly day in the Ozarks, babies from Batch #1 born in October are fully feathered and look like mini clones of their parents. I started with 4 and ended up with 2. I consider that success. Hawks are ever prevelant and guard duty is a must. #ThatOzarkLife
