#FOI relies on proper record-keeping, so it's good questions are being asked of records management policies involving the sudden destruction of information.

The ICO is investigating claims that on the same day that an FOI tribunal ordered Fermanagh & Omagh Council to disclose inspection reports for two dog breeders, the council destroyed eight years' worth of similar information about other dog breeding premises. The ICO is 'surprised and concerned'.
