Because it's not a fight against transphobia. It's a fight for who gets to define what being a woman or girl means - something the GG and WI ought to be invested in! (And easily aligns with their charitable purpose)

Research around right wing beliefs suggests they mostly genuinely believe these things - even under anonymity they cop to all sorts of bigotry so it's not just a peer pressure/network thing

It was a psychology essay though, not a theological one - the student could have, but didn't, responded to, or engaged with, the rich thought around the psychology of religion/religious psychology/liberation psychology

Taxing billionaires isn't about raising money though so it could amount to £20,000pp and it wouldn't matter - the Gov can raise all the money it wants whenever it wants.

Taxing billionaires is about reducing the inflationary effect.

Lucky - the ones I've been in recently are screen/cash only, they don't have registers or ways to take orders. Just feels like a way to keep out unhoused people.
