At this point, I shouldn't be so shocked at the blatant corruption of the #WorldCup2026 draw, but I wasn't ready for this disgrace. we've lost our game 😞

Migrants didn't cut council funding.
Migrants didn't raise energy bills.
Migrants didn't close community centres.

Know what would help solve Scotland’s problems? Taxing the super-rich and building an affordable country for all.

Shout out to the SFA referee who called tonight's Queens Park vs Ross County game off just 15 minutes before kickoff.

Surely if the pitch was frozen 4 hours ago, it wasnt going to defrost... why wait so late to cancel it?

Young workers are often unfairly paid far less than their colleagues for doing the same job.

This workplace age-discrimination is encouraged by the UK Government, who continue to keep the minimum wage for under-18s nearly 40% below the standard rate. Young workers deserve better.

THAT is how you qualify for the World Cup! What a gloriously mad final fifteen minutes.

Well done to @scotlandnt.bsky.social, sending Mount Florida to Florida.

McGills faced no consequences from their raid on West Lothian buses.

In the few months they operated here, they removed routes and hiked prices, before they abandoned us, they've taken the Livingston depot and moved buses to their other franchises.

Why did the Council let them get away with it?

Scotland simply doesn't need to develop Rosebank.

💨 In 2022, renewables generated 113% of Scotland’s energy consumption.
👷 Over 28,000 green jobs were advertised last year.
📤 We export 93% more energy than we import.

Labour keeps trying to sell Nuclear as a saviour to cut energy bills.

But Hinkley Point C nuclear power station is now estimated to be £28 billion over budget and won't come online for years. Why are we wasting money on nuclear when renewables come at a fraction of the time and cost?

Recent polling has the @scottishgreens.org neck and neck with the Tories!

Imagine the impact of a strong group in parliament fighting to cut your bills, make public transport free and tackle the climate emergency.

Whilst world leaders gather in Brazil for COP30, a report from scientists shows that emissions from fossil fuels rose by 1.1% in 2025.

When will these so-called "leaders" take control of our planet's future?

East Calder has expanded well beyond the capacity of its current school, medical centre and transport corridors.

Why the Council & Developers have been allowed to get away with this is beyond belief. Let's hope this win for local parents is a first step to improving local services for all.

More oil and gas won't cut energy bills; it will simply line the pockets of fossil fuel executives.

We need to end our reliance on billionaire-owned power!

He who holds Stirling, holds Scotland....

Well done to Cllr Tollemache in helping oust the Tory/Lab Council, & instead offer a progressive alternative 💚

Looking forward to his work as Transport & Net Zero Convenor in fighting for public ownership of buses, & community-owned renewables ✊️
Very proud my friend and colleague Alasdair Tollemache has entered a progressive agreement to join the Stirling Council administration! He will work hard to cut climate emissions and bills for Stirling's communities, improve buses, protect tenant's rights and restore nature💚

Fossil fuel companies are turning huge profits, yet our energy bills are still sky high.

More oil & gas won't cut bills, it will simply line the pockets of the super-rich!

For-profit prisons have always been a bad idea.

Instead of focusing on rehabilitation, education and accountability, they put all their efforts into squeezing every penny out of the place and into shareholders' pockets.

HMP Addiewell should be handed back to the Scottish Prison Service.

Current SNP leadership can't make up their mind on new fossil fuel projects. One minute they oppose them, the next they demand they go ahead!

Meanwhile, former SNP FM Nicola Sturgeon has joined scientists and the Greens in calling for a halt to new fossil fuel projects.
