If you would have told me last year that Cedric Coward would be selected 11th overall in the NBA draft, I would have asked, “who the hell is Cedric Coward.”
No, I don’t count him as part of The Brotherhood (not that I decide), but it makes me appreciate Scheyer’s eye for talent.

Not sure I can watch tonight's NBA draft. While I'm obviously happy for the Blue Devils who will be drafted, all I can come back to is, HOW DID THIS SQUAD NOT WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP? One day, I'll get past it, like I did with the '99 team, but that day hasn't arrive yet.

Not sure what's funnier, this guy complaining about Duke having a home game in the SEC/ACC Challenge game, even though UNC has played all SEC/ACC Challenge games at home so far or the fact that he still places UNC among the top of the ACC.

Now that we're settled in, my worthless thoughts on Duke's 2025-26 roster. There is a lot to like. A ton of talent and future pros. My only concern is the youth. This team is super young, with Brown being the only senior and Foster being the only junior who will see serious mins. A thread... 🧵

I have Cedric Coward staying in the NBA draft. I have for a while now, but if for some reason he decides to return to college and play at Duke, I would have the Blue Devils ranked #1. I don't think it's going to happen, but a man can dream.

Getting Dame Starr was a great late get by Scheyer. He can do a lot of the basketball floor. But for this season, he won't be able to bring what Cedric Coward could have brought. Still, I think Starr will be a solid spark plug off the bench, who will feel like a 6th starter at times.

Sucks for Jason Tatum. A non-contact injury in the ankle sounds like an Achilles. I didn’t see him turn it.

I am starting to believe that Cedric Coward will never wear a Duke uniform. Rumors are he’s been impressive in front of NBA scouts, just got measured for a 7-foot-2 wingspan. At this point, he’s looking like a lock first rounder in the draft. Hope the staff has a backup plan.

Going to say this once, I don’t care how Belichick meet his girlfriend, that kind of age gap is just gross. I’m not even close to Bill’s age and I think a 24-year-old is too young for me. Belichick has forgotten more than that girl has even learned yet in life. Sorry, but not.

I’m not going to pretend I know much about Evan Bradds. He was the Player development coach for the Utah Jazz this past season. I will say that I’m happy that Scheyer continues to find the best assistants and doesn’t focus on only hiring former players.

UNC’s Zayden High was suspended because he used SnapChat to film a sexual encounter without the knowledge of the other person. I’m old and maybe I’m wrong, but the only reason to use Snapchat, as oppose to just using the camera on your phone is because you intent to share it.

I used two work two jobs in the mall in the early 90’s. Made about $30k making a little over min wage. Often ate Sbarros at $2 a slice for lunch. Walked by Sbrarros today. A slice is now $6. Yet, a person working the same two jobs today, would still be making roughly $30k. Crazy.
