I do think so in fact I know so

I think you might be exaggerating

Most polls show that if a Scottish election was held to day reform would win quite a few MSPs.
I dislike populism from both sides of the isle
February 12, 2025 at 1:57 PM
Yeah but that's because they haven't built any new power stations for years, a policy of climate inaction the SNP continues to support
February 12, 2025 at 1:54 PM
That does little to change the fact that Scotland is helped greatly by UK government funding for green projects.

A huge chunk of the SNP's plan for energy investment is based of UK wide initiatives run by Westminster.
December 17, 2024 at 9:28 PM
The Labour (and SNP) supporters that said it was the Tory's fault were kind of correct as this is largely down under-investment. But to blame Labour for not fixing the national info structure in 6 months is insane.

How many times are you going to miss the point and reply with a vaguely related video of Keith Brown?

Transmission fees are managed by Ofsted ,SSE and the National grid.

Transmission is subsidised in Scotland as well (partly by taxpayers of rUK) to act like there is conspiracy against Scotland from private companies is odd.

Scotland's economy is not being exploited. We can vote in Westminster elections. We aren't and don't feel subordinate to the English.
December 13, 2024 at 11:19 PM
You do understand that an independent Scotland would have to fund these policies without Westminster?
December 12, 2024 at 9:10 PM
I am moaning about you asking for both tax cuts and spending increases.
December 12, 2024 at 9:01 PM
I am not denying spending was used for mitigation, but that was voluntary action (which I don't particularly oppose).

Also you are still complaining about both taxes rises and low spending. You can't have both.
December 11, 2024 at 7:10 PM
You are simultaneously arguing for tax cuts and increased spending
December 11, 2024 at 6:44 PM
a person on £25,000 only pays £23 less in tax and Scottish unis receive less funding per student than England. Scottish unis receive 22% less in real terms than 2012-13
December 11, 2024 at 5:30 PM
I feel like the SNP have kind of done this with the UK budget.

"You can't raise NI"
"You have to spend more in Scotland" (I don't support Tories either though.)
December 11, 2024 at 5:25 PM
I support building more homes but I don't understand how if the UK budget was bad for Scotland how is spending going up?
December 11, 2024 at 5:22 PM
IFS says that the UK budget has improved Scottish funding
December 10, 2024 at 12:55 PM
I am not an expert but I think that might have been because the grant is tied to Westminster spending so it went up in the pandemic. Would like to stress though I don't know what I am talking about
