Slot’s hyper control setup doesn’t do Isak, Hugo, or Wirtz any favors. They all need room to move. Wirtz w/Germany. Isak w/Newcastle. Have seen a smaller sample size w/Hugo

2/2 Mostly, extremely stagnant, easy to defend with no pressure on the CBs. Small movements, no diagonals, etc. hard to provide service to, hard to score. Starts on the wings w/no where to lead a pass to. 🤷🏻♂️

1/2 Interesting exercise. Go to any of our many losses this campaign. Watch the players in front of the net. Watch how Slot sets them up to play in the box (before panic time at the end).

Grav’s 2nd half of last season was abysmal defensively. We need a real, top #6 (Anderson). The rumor was that Slot loved PSG’s setup/style of play—praised it often. Seems like some buys were made on that model.
