I remember that the Tea Party “protests” here in Columbus were pathetically small, but yeah, they got media coverage.
Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.

Cost of Trump's D.C. Occupation: $1.1M per day.

Cost to operate public housing for D.C.'s entire homeless population: $169,226 per day.

It's not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Actually, in 2016, Trump repeatedly and falsely denied Russia was intervening in the election. He was covering for Putin—that is, aiding and abetting a foreign adversary that was assaulting the USA with information warfare. So....
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” U.S. Const. Art.III, S. 3, Cl. 1.

So Obama was levying war against the U.S.? Giving aid and comfort to Russia…by accusing them?? Confused

The media inherently thinks secrets that are dug up are more damning than confessions shouted in public -- which is why a forgotten birthday greeting has gotten more attention than all the times Trump spoke into a microphone or voluntarily put in print the words "I LIKE TO FUCK CHILDREN"
Howard Stern asked Trump how young Trump would go.

When Quivers asks for his “age limit,” Trump starts out by saying he doesn’t have one — but then gives a point of reference that looks not great in any light, saying he would draw a line at “12 year-olds”:

Oh this is….something. There is, apparently a message to be delivered.

Because in what other circumstance would the Deputy AG of the United States personally meet with a convicted & imprisoned sex trafficker.
BREAKING

Deputy AG Todd Blanche says the DOJ stands by the July 6 memo but that he anticipates meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell in the coming days.

Blanche says no administration has inquired about meeting her, presumably including the first Trump administration, during which Maxwell was charged.

I always complain when contemporary films that take place in the 70s and 80s show average people drinking nice bottles of wine as they do today. We didn’t have a wine culture in the U.S. then, but we did have stuff like this.
Heublein Wine and Dine Meals (1973-1974): A line of meal kits that contained a small bottle of salted/spiced cooking wine to use in such dishes as "Chicken Chablis." Many consumers were confused and unpleasantly surprised, believing that the wine was meant to be *paired* with the meal

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds.

He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings.

He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights.

This is political intimidation.
Whoa! NYC mayoral candidate and current city Comptroller Brad Lander seemingly arrested at the NYC immigration court while attending to escort someone attending their hearing.
Lander just got detained by federal agents as he tried to escort a man out of the courtroom. Lander was taken in an elevator with masked agents, along with one member of his NYPD security detail.
