We also have the issue that NHS Trusts are outright lying or otherwise being misleading in their response to PFD reports. Tavistock & Portman haven’t introduced any of the waiting list support they claimed they were going to. They continue to lie and do nothing and I don’t know what to do about it.

Note the SCA meeting began on the 20th October, and the joint submission by UK trans groups was on the 23rd. Unlikely they would have considered it at that meeting, although would have to wait for them to publish their report/minutes to confirm if that’s the case.

As a constituent of hers she's been... somewhat lacklustre in my experience, although this has been largely before she was made the LD equalities spokesperson. Very generic platitudes in the aftermath of the April ruling, general reassurances but nothing specific. I'm sure you can imagine.

We also need an inquiry into how the EHRC has been allowed to be captured by bigoted ideologues, and why the govt has chosen to overrule two parliamentary committees in appointing another bigot to chair, ensuring the EHRC does not meet the Paris Principles of NHRIs.

We need the Equality Act to be amended so that it is compatible with the HRA and the ECHR.

UK is in violation of our convention rights and needs to do something about it as a matter of urgency.
