Another of Sumita's old bands, and one he does play on, is Hiroshima-originated noise-punk maniacs Jailbird Y. If you're a fan of raucous, playful, hardcore-adjacent Japanese junk in the tradition of the Boredoms, then this is well worth a listen:

While GG are a new band, drummer Sumita has been around in a great many projects over the years including a couple of ours. He played with P-iPLE for a while, and while he isn't on any of the recordings, fans of skronky punk trash should check them out: call-and-response.bandcamp.com/album/missin...

Then late last year we partnered with Objects Forever in London to release this collaboration between Fukuoka's Sea Level and @matthewjashton.bsky.social's Sun Drawing project, which you could take as the rural or leafy 1st part of the journey:

In a way, that album is the urban-tinted 3rd part of a triptych of releases we've been putting out. Earlier this year, we released Lo-shi's album Moro-Q: a more ambient take on the same kraut-ish tendencies, which I think of as the more suburban 2nd part:

Since our current preorder release, Former_Airline's new album Breath of the Machineries, leans on what I'd call the abstract pop side of the label, I'm gonna use this thread to highlight some higlights of that side of what we do:

We've other releases by Former_Airline, Lo-shi and Sea Level (some hosted on our Bandcamp page and some linked away to the bands' own pages), so if you dig these releases, please explore. They're all excellent.
