Today is the first anniversary of my dad's sudden death. NGL even though I was expecting it, it's still a punch in the gut watching MY "family" and his friends - friends that have known me for years - reach out to and fawn all over his crazy wife on FB, but not bother to acknowledge me.

Met the sweetest little pocket pittie at the vet today. Mom tells her "excuse you, they didn't say they wanted to meet you" because she was pulling at the leash.
Ma'am, I want to meet all dogs, let her come over! She walked over and gave me the same sweet kiss on the nose that Finn always does!
