A cold rainy day is perfect for getting some seedlings started. Mostly trying this for fish and 5 color hot peppers but also threw in watermelon, peas, okra, and hosta. #gardening

With #genuary2025 ongoing, I installed Harold Cohen's AARON generative art screensaver software. I believe this version is from 2001, but he began the project back in 1968. Really fascinating approach to generative art in terms of how various parameters must have been defined and then repeated.

Going to attempt as many #genuary2025 prompts as possible. This is day one, horizontal or vertical lines only. #genuary1

Spent a long time getting things set up today, so hopefully the remaining prompts will go a bit quicker. Haven't played with p5 in some time.

Starting a 'digital cleanse' for the first of the year. Looking to scale back the number email lists, Discord channels, etc. There are so many I rarely pay attention to but still see in my periphery. Don't need to waste time worrying about not being engaged

Hoping that will result in better focus

Digging Openvibe. Very polished. I wish it supported multiple accounts per service. Not having access to my other Mastodon account is probably a dealbreaker.

The combined timeline feels good. For some reason, though, I have to look at the tag on each post indicating which service it came from.

How do I search for posts that contain a hashtag? Doesn’t seem possible? I can tap on a hashtag from my timeline and see associated posts that way.

The hashtag icon seems to be for curated lists. Nothing to do with hashtags. 🤷
