Our P1s invited their grown ups in for a literacy ‘Stay, Play and Learn’ on Friday! They showed off their skills in how they ‘Say, Make/Break, Blend, Read and Write’. They also loved their Scottish Book Trust ‘Book Bug’ bags with lots of goodies inside 📖 ✏️! #ScottishBookTrust #BookWeekScotland

Our P1s invited their grown ups in for a literacy ‘Stay, Play and Learn’ on Friday! They showed off their skills in how they ‘Say, Make/Break, Blend, Read and Write’. They also loved their Scottish Book Trust ‘Book Bug’ bags with lots of goodies inside 📖 ✏️! #ScottishBookTrust #BookWeekScotland
R5 shared active literacy activities with their grown ups! They enjoyed making sentences, testing their memory, matching words and pictures but most of all playing splat with their common words! They also got their Read, Write and Count bags filled with stories and resources to help learn at home!⭐️

It was also Primary 4 from Room 8’s turn to invite their grown ups into school for their Egyptian Assembly! They loved performing to their audience and sharing lots of interesting facts about Ancient Egypt! What a wonderful assembly! ⭐️

Thank you to our Parent Council for treating us to the Pantomine this week! We welcomed Hopscotch Theatre into school to perform 💚The Wizard of Oz! 💚 Our Calderwooodies loved it and got into all the fun and festive cheer! #livetheatre #pantomime
