Pensioner garden on the left vs millennial garden on the right. It's always funny seeing how much effort our neighbours put into their lawn and we're just like meh.
On the left side of the photo is a short trimmed bright green patch of grass, there are only a few scattered leaves on it. Down the middle is a line of tiles and a wire fence, the tiles are mostly covered in leaves. On the right is a darker green patch of grass which is taller and not as neat as the left side. The grass on the right is covered in many dead leaves.

And loving our Christmas calendar this year 😍 it's hiding some (hopefully) delicious caramels, and if we treat it nicely we can save it and make our own calendar next year.

We got to the scout Christmas market later than normal so didn't manage to get an advent candle or Christmas countdown candle. But we picked up these two.

The Christmas stick is up!

The river?! We're not barbarians! Our trees go into the garden so the insects etc can also experience the joy of Christmas. Here's last years & the previous years trees.

The cold has finally arrived. All the poor confused plants that thought it was spring are not going to be having a nice day.

It's wild to me that former owners of my house thought it's better to dump things in the ground then cover it up with garden waste, rather than giving things away or taking them to the recycling centre.

Visited the very beautiful Zamek Książ today, but thoroughly disappointed in not seeing a single cat, despite the audio guide saying there are at least 30 cats living at the castle 😾
