Ended up making a 3D printed bust of my Toonami TOM 3 model. I’m pretty clumsy with an airbrush but I’m really happy with how cleanly it turned out.

My latest 3D printing project: the Pan’ku box from Jackie Chan Adventures. I sculpted wood grain into the model to try and make it look like an old wooden puzzle box with peeling paint. Basically the goal was to make the movie prop version of it

This was a mocopi one. I didn't have anything on hand that I could kick over like that so I had to just mime it and try and add some resistance and weight in Blender.

Sword Get. More of an acting take. In addiction to the spacing, I had to tweak the timing a bit so he spends a bit more time examining the sword.

Here's a few more mocap things I did recently/ It was a mix of Rokoko and Mocopi.

The struggle with this one is Rokoko is good at keeping feet grounded when one of them is flat on the ground but it has no way of doing that for hands or knees.

At some point I might have to cover my mocap process in more detail cause it's really taken form in the past year and I never really cover it.

TLDR: Record > Auto Rig Pro for retargetting > Animation Layers for tweaking

Here's a little mocap I recorded with mocopi and polished into a run cycle in Blender today. I'm pretty happy with how it's looking so far so I thought I'd show it off. Still a bit more to go on it but it's a good start.

I just saw a post of someone lamenting the fact that they couldn't get a very expensive anime shader for vtubing so I thought I'd post this:

The "Anime feel" is regular toon shading with tons of post processing on top. You can totally do that for free in OBS.

Random attempt at TOM 3 from Toonami. I'm thinking of turning it into a 3D print of some sort. Probably a character bust unless there's someone out there who wants to try and engineer it to be a wearable helmet.

Not sure I'll finish it but I like the results so far so I figured I'd show it off.

I finally got the last part of my new Rokoko kit and at this point, it's a weird tradition that every time I get a new mocap thing, I have to test it in the following way.

Just a few more renders. For those curious, the watercolor effect is done through texture painting, it's all unlit shaders except for the hair which has a rim light on it.

Man, Vtubing software has come a long way since I last streamed. You can even track hands with a webcam now!

Anyone out there have some good learning resources for Warudo? I'm kind of more interested in fine tuning things like spine stiffness than stream integration gimmicks.

Just a random cloth sim experiment for fun.
Why is a weird cheese ball wrapped in what looks like silk and not something like foil? I dunno but the filter I put on it looks like it's from a 90's commercial and I'm kinda digging that so that's something at least.
