Watched the Aida livestream from the @metopera.bsky.social tonight with Angel Blue as Aida and Judit Kutasi as Amneris. It was a fabulous production and everyone was amazing. The set was incredible. Such joy getting the opportunity to see it. Aida is an absolute favourite of mine.

Listened to @charlesnove.bsky.social as I drove to St Ives this morning. The questions of the day were WAY too complicated for so early in the morning! This was my choice from my music for the drive home this evening. Callas is superb in this recording.

Had the absolute joy of listening to the Retrospective Recordings @bryanferry.com on my drive back from St Ives to Norwich tonight. Such a wonderful album. And best of all was that When She Walks In The Room was in the set. It has always been one of my all time favourite songs by any artist. Love it

The monster tree has been decorated. Henry and his girlfriend spent the evening decorating it. All baubles (no toys), except for Henry’s Leopard.

This is the absolute monster of a real tree that we got today. They laughed at the garden place when they initially struggled to get it into the netting and then even more when we said it was going into the mini. In it went and a slow drive home with the boot open.

It has the toilet-roll tree topper that was made by one of the boys (can’t remember which one and they both say it wasn’t them)

This tree is about 20yrs old. It was expensive when bought but it remains sturdy, strong and looks good. It can take the weight of the toys that are its decorations.
