Had a chance to play Steam Up by @hotbananagame.bsky.social this weekend. What a great game. Simple-ish, required some strategy, and amazing table presence. Will definitely play again soon!

I did not want to go see Wicked tonight. But I did. And I loved it. I can absolutely see why people love it. And it's such a spectacle on the big screen. Damn.

Excellent birthday yesterday. Awesome family, great food and got some gaming in. Got Weirdwood Manor as a gift - set it up, read the rulebook and played a few turns. A good day indeed.

Here's a question for the boardgamers out there:

If you get upgraded tokens (acrylic, etc) for a game do you toss the original cardboard ones?

Tonight as I was putting the acrylic upgrades for The Thing in the box, I couldn't throw away the originals. This has never been a problem for me before.

This week: Eagerly awaiting my Retroid Pocket 5, and some accessories for The Thing from Pendragon Game Studio. As if I needed MORE game related things.
