Just read Nine Princes in Amber. In someways totally cornball and definitely not pc, but on the other hand has some great plot devices. Fun book and not Sanderson (yes i went there) It still stands up after 55 years.

The 13-yo gave me this 3-inch iron skillet (mocking my many skillet-seasoning experiments re:flax oil v bacon grease.) What do I do w/ this thing now besides cherish it for her thoughtfulness (and I hope-sume thriftiness in buying from Ross)? 😃🤔

I hate this book. Yes, it’s part of the literary canon. Yes it’s by inspired Many movies which makes it important. Yes I know Mary S was very young when she wrote it to a much different audience. Nonetheless, it sucked. 💙📚🪐
