It is argued that ethical xenotransplantation could require genetic pain disenhancement in pigs.

The previous paper also discusses conflicts between the Rs leading to sacrificial dilemmas.

Here we present an approach to shed light on stakeholders’ decision-making in such dilemma using Experimental Bioethics - #bioxphi. Swiss-based study already underway!

Modern definitions of the #3Rs (Replace, Reduce, Refine) tend to depart from Russell & Burch’s original ones.

What about Swiss law? 🇨🇭 In this paper we highlight discrepancies, including the notion of an “evolutionary scale” to rank animal models.
