Just overhead one (seemingly educated and well travelled) guy boarding the plane tell another that you don’t put your bag under the seat in front of you, you put it under your own seat. Try that with me and you’ll have no bag left upon arrival.

Went out of my way to help 2 separate people at the airport today who were going the wrong direction/in the wrong line. The first followed my advice but blanked me and the second said if I was wrong they’d headbutt me! How difficult is it to say “thanks”?

I only recently tried a Cadbury's Fudge bar for the first time. I was always put off them because I thought the lyrics of the song in the advert were "it's full of peppery goodness", and I thought that sounded disgusting.

Loved to see the world cycling championships in Rwanda. The local crowd turned out in huge numbers and made for a great atmosphere. Would be great to see other major events held in Africa but I won’t hold my breath.
