The New American Dream is about opportunity, inclusion, and fighting for a future where everyone has a fair shot. This vision isn’t built for a select few—it’s built by and for all of us. Together, we can create a country where hard work is rewarded and communities are supported. #southcarolina

Thank you to Emerge South Carolina for all you do to train and nurture past and future candidates. It was an honor to meet A'shanti F. Gholar, National President, and learn about the future plans for Democratic women candidates across this nation. I count myself blessed to be one of you.

South Carolina deserves an education system that prepares every child for success not just a few. For too long, our schools have been underfunded, our teachers undervalued, and our students overlooked. That has to change.

Me entristece profundamente el trágico tiroteo y la muerte de Charlie Kirk. La violencia no tiene lugar en nuestro discurso político ni en nuestras comunidades.

Eight years ago, Hurricane María changed Puerto Rico forever.

It wasn’t just the wind or the rain, it was the silence after. The power outages, the collapsed homes, the unanswered cries for help. And the painful truth that the federal government turned its back on our people.
