"Dead Fishermen Ruin The Narrative"
When truth is inconvenient, this administration buries it; along with the innocent people its recklessness kills. Their lies crumble the moment real bodies wash up against their fake storyline.

As if any of us required yet one more reason to NOT visit the U.S. This ought to help make that decision so much easier. That's okay. They were already overcrowded and run like amusement parks. Stay home and enjoy our great Canadian national and provincial parks.

U.S. to slap big surcharge on foreign visitors to national parks
Foreign tourists visiting U.S. national parks including the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone will now pay a hefty surcharge, the Trump administration announced Tuesday.

With each new announcement, the U.S. slides deeper and deeper into the hell hole. No wonder the rest of the world is disgusted and withdrawing in revulsion. So now we're all being accused of "human rights violations" for having common decency? Go figure.

Such a good piece. Precisely how I have been feeling about social media for a long time - what I was sensing - but then felt "for sure" a few months ago -- and now it's actually feeling like it's in the final death throes.

Michael Cohen about Trump's appalling speech at the UN. Deranged. Demented. Disrespectful. Destructive. Is there any wonder why the rest of the world is turning away from America? Canadians are fed up and are "moving on".

See Charlie Angus' substack. Getting mighty sick of hearing Creepy Pete Hoekstra prattling on with his view of Canadians. Time for U.S. Ambassador Hoekstra, to fly on home. He's nothing but a shit-disturber.

The Long Lake Fire in West Dalhousie has been expanding. As of this morning, NRCAN's interactive map puts it at
1,368 hectares. Today, 4 Fire Boss 802 skimmer planes from the NWT, will begin providing aerial support. Hopefully some progress will be made today.

DON'T COUNT ON THE TREES!!! Pretty much what I've been thinking. There is this belief that we can "tree plant" our way out of a climate crisis when,in fact, trees are struggling to survive. We're seeing that right now here in Nova Scotia.

Sun looked orange when it came up today. Skies here were hazy and pink looking yesterday. We have a bad drought going on here in Nova Scotia. Not the kind of weather you think of out here on the east coast. Terrible to see so many fires across the country. So dry everywhere. Where will it end.
