One thing that keeps me hopeful about the elections in 2026 is that Republicans are still trying to gerrymander everywhere they can — it indicates that there isn’t a foregone conclusion.

All I could think about is Marjorie Taylor Greene who came in to Congress with a net worth of $500K and walked away with $25 million by some estimates.

Mistakes were made after the Civil War, after segregation, and most recently after January 6th. If and when we oust the regime currently running democracy into the ground, we must bring the hammer down hard on each and every person responsible for the atrocities we are witnessing every day.
