i recently finished Z.A.T.O. // I Love the World and Everything In It, and i quite enjoyed it. very atmospheric and well-written with a strong POV character, bonus points for excellent music and artwork. it's also free! (but you can also buy a digital art pack to support the developer)

i'm jealous of everyone who's been able to read manosaba, i've heard nothing but good things and it sounds really fucking cool. here's hoping we get an english release soon (non-MTL/AI ideally...)

pluribus is pretty interesting so far. i was hooked by the end of episode 1 thanks to the compelling premise (i'm glad i was unspoiled on that), but with the developments in episode 2 there's no telling where the story could go. there's also so many themes they could dive into with this premise...

i started watching frieren. the first five episodes have been pretty chill, i like the vibes and how relaxing it is

Finished Signalis. I loved it. Pretty much everything about this game was up my alley. The surrealism of it all, the art style, the vibes/atmosphere, the central mystery and the lore, the characters at the center of it all, it was a fantastic experience. I'll be thinking about this game a lot.

random higurashi gou/sotsu appreciation post. i love the direction that ryukishi took with this story and i think that it's both consistent with the original story while also exploring new and interesting things. wish it was a visual novel too :3

so glad to hear that silent hill f is selling extremely well. very good way to piss off both the "SILENT HILL F IS NOT A REAL SILENT HILL GAME" people and the "WOKE = NO BUY" people.

silksong has been pretty good so far. definitely more challenging than the original hollow knight, which I get why it is and I'm personally fine with it, but also I understand why some feel frustrated by the difficulty. i do want to finish this game before they fully nerf everything though.

i officially own silksong.

BREAKING: Silksong will be out on September 4. Two weeks from today. Really.

Often, games that take 7+ years to make are plagued by mismanagement and painful burnout. But for Silksong? Team Cherry was having a blast. They still are.

This is their story: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
Why ‘Silksong’ Took Seven Years to Make
The highly anticipated indie game has been in production for so long that it’s become an internet meme

You’ve undoubtedly seen the list of banned subjects itch has been forced to add by payment services, just like other storefronts. If you’re someone who thus far has thought “well, that’s just for gross porn, not stuff I like”, think again. These rules threaten Misericorde and other future work.
July 26, 2025 at 7:04 PM
everyone needs to read seabed and misericorde. all of you. every single of you. yes, you too. *turns around* don't think i forgot about you punk. especially you.

it's nice to see void stranger blowing up in popularity, the game definitely deserves it. and i feel proud to have played it while it was still less well known.

NEW MADOKA TRAILER AND POSTER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
July 15, 2025 at 12:59 PM
crazy how 99% of the posts on the "am i overreacting/am i the asshole" subreddit are along the lines of "this person called me a slur, burned down my car and killed my family. i got angry and called them a jerk. am i the asshole????" like holy fucking shit

I started reading Witch Hat Atelier, and I really like it. Even though I'm merely two volumes in, I'm quite impressed with the manga's worldbuilding and the magic system. There are some political elements that I suspect (and hope) will get greater focus as the story keeps going. Charming art too!

I just want to get this straight. The conservative controversy around Superman is that… he’s the good guy in the movie, has a comic-accurate origin as an immigrant, and he’s nice to people? So… they just hate the character Superman? They’re just mad at the 87-year-old character Superman existing?

hello friendos, hope you're doing well. i've recently started playing Blasphemous, very fun experience so far :)
