Haha, I love them! I also like Crash Bandicoot and Jack & Daxter. Ratchet & Clank is one of my favorites, it is more like a 3rd person shooter, but I also love the platforming.
I can see a 3D platform game with my OCs, and much more with my beaver Carl. Maybe in a future. ;)

I like how you think. OC base on inanimated objects are funny. The challenge here is how you will make their body or if you will make only a lively object. I have seen a lot of interesting characters that are based in other things that aren't animals and are so cool.
