was listening to Eldest Daughter today as one does, and somehow it only JUST now hit me that the "bad bitch" and "savage" lyrics could v easily be another reference to Rihanna being Lily's ex (and potentially the last person Lily was with before Tily got together), a la "you like the bad ones too"

Last year on 11/15/24, Taylor played a v sapphic coded mashup of IDWLF x Mine where she specifically framed it so that she sang "I fell in love with a careless man's careful daughter / She is the best thing that's ever been mine" without the frame of "you said..." as in the original lyrics 🌈
