Asking Bluesky to Do the Right Thing is almost as egregious a sin as a pastor telling people to show empathy. Sigh

AJ Link is still banned.
Over on X, people like Nick Fuentes thrive

On Bluesky, autistic disability advocate AJ Link, president of the Nat’l Disabled Legal Professionals Assn (and an expert in space law) is banned

Singal? Bluesky changed the TOS to accommodate him

The racism and fascism are overt
Link's perma ban is wrong and should be reversed.

And what illustrates it being EVEN MORE WRONG, are recent suspensions with restoration with much much more egregious offenses in the same line of what Bluesky claims Link was banned over.

My friend called this heavy material, esp for one weekend. Idk to me it feels like refilling my hope cup given the current state of Chicago and the constant ICE invasions and organizing against them
So I’m definitely in a mood this weekend.

Though the provenance of the belief is questionable, I have always liked the idea that you are not truly gone until the last time someone speaks your name. With this in mind I will sometimes speak a name, just to myself, and take a moment to remember someone so that, if only in me, they live on.

My oldest friend (I’ve actually known someone since KINDERGARTEN!!!) was supposed to fly back to Asheville today and spent all day at O’Hare.

We’re hanging out, cuddling, and watching Miss Fischer’s (she needs cheering up - I’ll be back to my watchlist tomorrow). Life’s good in a snow storm

The New York Times has absolutely had its share of creepers and sexists on its staff and in its boardrooms. No media entity is immune, I feel reasonably confident in saying (and yes, we could expand from there). Also, generally, patriarchy is a hell of a drug.
Are you saying the New York Times is a creeper sexist?

Actually, that makes a lot of sense.
