It was the way the phrasing of q's which was concerning. I've developed social research surveys & these q's were very strategic- no options to NOT providing ID only what ID would you agree to. They were even flagging a universal Govt photo ID card for upload to prove age & ID for social media.

The source was The Life in Australia™ 2024 Age Assurance Survey by the Social Research Centre from ANU & was commissioned by the eSafety Commissioner. There were also a lot of questions about using biometric data including facial recognition to confirm ID & age on social media sites.

I actually did a social research survey (pretty sure commissioned by the govt) 2 wks ago. Some of the q's were alarming particularly q's relating to proving identity ie using Centrelink/Medicare/ Drivers Licence to prove age (for those>16) HUGE privacy issues & data safety issues potential with this

I remember as a little girl, before fluoride was in our water, my mum gave me a fluoride tablet everyday. It was pretty obvious at school which kids didn't have fluoride tablets.

My sister is 10yrs younger than me & none of her friends had rotten teeth bc they'd all been drinking fluoride.

Regardless of how much we believe we've progressed, we continue to repeat history. We make decisions that lead to truly awful & destructive outcomes followed by periods of progress, reflection & promises for a better future only to then destroy all we've achieved. Repeat, repeat, repeat
