How's everyone else doing?

Those who existed prior to the new user influx have been grandfathered into becoming BlueSky Elders. Those who were already elders from the invite code era will now be called the BlueSky Ancients.

I don’t make the rules I just read the tomes. Who wrote the tomes? I dunno. The tea leaves? Shut up.

This could be a better shot but conditions were very difficult last night. Anyway, I got it! At this time, it was about 85,000,000 km away. This is a long exp shot to capture the length of the tail - which was amazing.

The Jane Austen Society of North America is apparently meeting in the same hotel as the inductees of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

My PhD alma mater Mizzou is playing my employer in today’s Homecoming football game.

What weird conjunction will make three, I wonder.

It’s the 50th anniversary of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act

“As recently as 1974, banks were legally allowed to deny women credit or charge them higher interest if they failed to get a male cosigner”

“women couldn’t open bank accounts on their own until the 1960s”
50 Years Ago, Women Won Equal Access to Credit
Not that long ago, banks were requiring male cosigners. Equal access to credit helped women build financial independence.

If you think it seems dead in here, it's absolutely not.

However, you are going to have to follow more people than you did on Twitter to see a lot of action in your Home feed.
